My art is profoundly affected by my environment

I am fortunate to have lived in Key West, Maui, and now Sedona.

Although I am always aware of quality, I try not to take my work too seriously or strive for perfection.

I am strongly influenced by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, 
where imperfections help to create character. 

I like to give the material a voice in the creation of its art.

The beauty of Sedona reminds me that nature does not struggle.
I try to express the feeling of natural flow in everything that I do.

My process will continually evolve because I take my cues from Nature.
